Think Out Here has many students from Burnaby North Secondary School. Many of them are part of the Advance Placement (AP) program. They have informed us that their principal, Mr. Brandt, has been promoted to the BC Board of Education and has been replaced by Mr. Lee. Congratulations to Mr. Brandt and Mr. Lee!
Mr. Lee is transferring to Burnaby North from Burnaby South Secondary School. Hopefully, he will continue to uphold Burnaby North’s reputation for high academic achievements and standards.
It is also Burnaby North’s 90th anniversary on April 11th, 2013. They are having a special celebration at 6PM in the North gym to commemorate 90 brilliant years. Tickets are $10. Contact Ms. Wong if you are interested.
At the celebration, students who have won the poetry contest will read their work to the crowd. The poetry will be about Burnaby North, celebrating its excellence. There will also be guest speakers and special performances that depict Burnaby North throughout the years. This even is a great chance to network with alumni and current students.
